[RECAP] SØCIETY SOCIAL ROADNATS EDITION

[RECAP] SØCIETY SOCIAL ROADNATS EDITION

After the energy and buzz of 2025, there was never any doubt we’d be back in 2026, with a clear goal of going bigger and better. Thanks to the incredible support we’ve received over the past few years, we were excited to once again bring the Søciety Social to the Perth cycling community during Road Nationals week.

After a month of promotion and an RSVP list topping 400, we rolled in at 5:05am, van packed and ready to set up, only to find riders already waiting. Before long, the line was snaking around the carpark, with more than 350 people queued up, keen to get their hands on one of the limited-edition HyperMesh jerseys and a Yellowline Coffee Roasters cold brew.

Within 15 minutes, jerseys were gone, coffees were finished, and riders were signed on. We ran the pre-ride briefing, introduced our sponsors, and sent the groups off just after 6:30am. Nine groups rolled out at one-minute intervals for a 46km social ride along one of Perth’s most iconic cycling routes, complete with a classic Perth easterly doing its thing.

By around 8:15am, everyone was safely back, intact, and smiling, with just a single flat tyre reported. A huge shout-out to Koorak Café for keeping the coffees flowing at speed, and to everyone who soaked up the sunshine, music, and relaxed post-ride vibes… there aren’t many better places to be during Australian Road Nationals weekend.

We were also incredibly grateful for our crew of around 20 legends who led groups, captured photos, handled setup, handed out jerseys, and helped in every way possible. You made the morning run smoothly from start to finish.
